SPRAY TAN TECHNICIAN(S)

GREAT SIDE HUSTLE WITH LOTS OF FLEXIBILITY!

No professional license is needed for spray tanning technicians. All training provided.

Spray tan technician : We are looking for someone interested in learning spray tanning, who can provide spray tanning and teeth whitening services and assist in managing day to day operations of the front desk/client services aspects of the studio during their shifts.

Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Being on your feet for long periods of time.
Spray tanning clients.
Make sure studio is set up and clean and retail area is clean throughout shift.

Assisting other techs clean rooms between clients.

Restocking rooms.
Client check in and check out
Answering phones and returning calls

Client scheduling
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
Possess strong interpersonal, oral communication and listening skills
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to needs of clients.
Reliable and available to work
Keep self motivated and on task when not with clients- we don't allow phones on your person during shifts( fine in the side room but not on the floor), but we also can't micromanage. You'll have set responsibilities that are clearly written out and communicated and are expected to complete them without direct oversight.

Spray tanning doesn't not require a professional license, but preference will be given to those with an esthetician or cosmetology license who wants to grow that area of the business working in the industry versus paying for training. We have a licensed esthetics suite that is fully stocked and regular lash lift clients.

Must be over 21 and okay with nudity.

All service training will be provided and classes paid for to further service education.

I am looking for a detailed, ambitious someone who wants a long term commitment ( training a person to spray tan takes a lot of time, and we want someone to stay on at least a year once trained, so this isn’t a fit for someone who wants a short term or summer job) with room for growth.

We provide high end spray tanning services and have a loyal clientele that relies on our welcoming and supportive staff and clean studio. You will be working very closely with the owner and representing Shade as it grows.

Hours are flexible and as needed but mostly PM and weekends.

Must be able to work PM hours. In September daytime shifts will open up as well.

ESTHETICIAN WITH PASSION FOR WAXING NEEDED

The Seeker Esthetics Suite at Shade and Seeker is looking to add one or two waxers to our team.

Use our well stocked and beautiful esthetics suite, and take advantage of Shade and Seeker’s decade long list of clientele. Cheaper than a salon suite, less overhead, and a great location. W2 employee. Hourly and commission- 70/30 to start. Product commission as well.

Must be currently licensed in PA in either esthetics or cosmetology. Must be willing to be very active on socials and consistent with content creation.

Must have at least one year of consistent relevant waxing experience. You must be okay working alone, be able to learn/use a our booking system on a MAC computer and Ipad, be a self starter and able to complete the needed tasks- checking clients in and out, cleaning, and be a strong communicator.
